Oct09 VB is awafully disgusting for my EB3 friends. Call of the day -- try out all possible options to improve your chances (EB2, if after so many years you qualify) and INTENSE lobby efforts for recapture by roping in all friendly employers and congressmen. Running away will not improve the lot.......

Agreed. $5000 is about the same amount a single student paid to TVU, the diploma mill. This used to be the price 1 employee paid a fraud DCC for processing a Green card.

Hello,
As my lawyer has used his checks to pay my 485/765/131 fees, there is no way of knowing whether the checks have been cashed. I did called my attorney a couple of times last week and he told me that checks are NOT yet cashed.
So I'm still waiting to hear from the lawyer abt the receipts.
And it looks like your package was handled at NSC itself, instead of getting transfered to TSC or CSC, hence the LIN#.
I will let you know once my receipts are in.

"Mind my language", clearly this must be a case of lost in translation. I am not entitled more or less, IV can close shop today, I did not come to the USA because there was EB1/2/3 or IV fighting my battles, enjoy your journey. Stop whining, there are millions of Americans suffering, don't tell me just because you know java you are better than them.

Thank you, texcan. FP may not be requierd for EAD renewal or first-time EAD? Mine is first time EAD. So, eseentially no FP yet for 485 (filed August 07) and first time EAD (this August)!

Anyways, paper based ead renewal donot require finger prints. Search the forum, this has been stated many time.

All the appropriations bill will be dealt by the new Democratic Congress in Jan-Feb (CR expires Feb 15). Immigratio Relief provisions can be attached to these bills...i believe there is widespread support for these among both Democrats and most Republicans

I am waiting for FP .Even I have called TSC having intention to open SR ,i got the reply all files are up to date and they can not open SR for FP ...Files indicate that FP is complete.(God knows what they mean,whose fingerprint they have on my file) ....I have not given any FP so far except at the PORT of entry .

Lawyer sent to NSC on 27th July. Today called to USCIS support. There are no receipts numbers in the system. What could be the reason.
Case might have got transferred to CSC. I applied on Jul' 23rd and no news yet.
